Perfume Extracts - Opt for Longevity
Extracts (Extrait de Parfum) provide the highest concentration of fragrant substances among perfumes available on the market, ranging from 20 to 40 percent. Such a concentrated form of fragrance means that after application, it develops on the skin more slowly, revealing its layers differently than eau de parfum or eau de toilette. If you know your favourite scent in the eau de parfum version, you can rediscover it by choosing the concentrated extract version.

Extract vs Eau de Parfum - Differences
The basic difference is, of course, the content of fragrant substances, which in the case of eau de parfum is 10-20%, although it is usually 15-20%. Higher concentration naturally translates to fragrance longevity, but often does not affect its intensity. Extracts are longer-lasting, but due to the higher content of fragrance oils, the mixture is more oily and tends to generate less projection. It creates an intense scent cloud but closer to the body and does not spread throughout the entire room.
Often it is quite the opposite - eau de parfum is sprayed as an aerosol, which makes its scent strongly noticeable from the very beginning. The extract works in a less spectacular way. It may not fill the entire room with fragrance immediately, but it will stay with you for a long time, creating a more intimate, lasting experience, noticeable only in your close surroundings. The first extract with alcohol at Profumo Labo is Exotica Intense (Inspiration no 5x - Xerjoff Erba Pura), which is strongly noticeable in the air and is also sprayed as an aerosol.
Oil-Based Perfumes
For creating an intimate aura around you, oil-based perfume extracts are the best choice. Just a few drops applied directly to the skin are enough to envelop you in your favourite scent. Perfumes where the fragrance carrier is oil are also safer for the skin, they do not irritate or dry it out. At Profumo Labo, you can purchase them in a roll-on perfume bottle, which allows you to conveniently apply your fragrance. Oil-based perfumes can be applied directly to the skin and this can be done discreetly anywhere without filling the room with a fragrance cloud and generating the characteristic scent from the atomizer spray, which can attract unnecessary attention. In short, you can calmly apply perfume during work, at a lecture, or on a train / bus / tram, etc.
